Basic things you have to know

The Guitar,Strings and Fretboard

  Generally the guitar consists of six strings which can be found in most of the guitars.Well some doesn't,we will come to that part later. To play the guitar you have to know the names of these strings
















EBGDAE- Every Banana Gets Digested After Eating,just an acronym expansion for easily learning the string names
The Thinnest string represents the High E string and thicker string represents the low E string

This is the representation of the fretboard in the guitar and each bar illustrates each fret,for example 3rd fret represents the starting fret marker as mentioned in the above picture,the 5th fret represents the next fret marker and it goes on.you will get a hold on to this when you move to the next lessons.
